  32. I recently installed a Conner 1.08 gig SCSI-II drive on my A3000 using it's internal
  33. controller.  Piece of cake!  The drive is fast, quiet, and BIG!  I don't recall the 
  34. model number (it is an OEM drive - no box, docs, etc).  Price was $235 at a local
  35. (Chicago) computer show.  I also left my older Maxtor 212 meg drive in - no more
  36. Amiga and BridgeBoard fighting over the drive at boot time!

  38. Go for it.  Given the proliferation of drives and the generally good reputations of
  39. the manufacturers (bad news travels fast) hard drives have pretty much reached
  40. commodity status, and you shouldn't have too many problems no matter which one you 
  41. buy.  My selection was determined solely on price.
